On Thursday November 24th we welcomed Amanda Hall, the designer and owner of Monkey Buttons. Amanda gave us a talk two days prior to the workshop, exciting us with many of her patterns and lots of “yummy” fabrics.
For the workshop she gave us a choice of two patterns. A flower garden wall hanging or feather study wall hanging. It was a difficult choice as both were gorgeous. I chose the flower garden. I managed to do two flower blocks on the day. Amanda was extremely helpful and generous with her ideas and tips. I am looking forward to finishing the other flower blocks. A good day was had by all.
