Review by Rosie Brown
Ten of us took part in a very enjoyable 2-day workshop to construct a large bag for sewing / holiday / shopping use. The teacher was our own Heather Cook who very patiently guided us through the preparation and quite intricate method of completion.
I think we were good pupils. Everybody worked very diligently – no time to dilly-dally! The rest of the results will be on the website soon when we have all titivated and added our own finishing touches (this is Rosie’s finished bag).
Our thanks must go to Heather for all her hard work and patience preparing the instruction notes.
As I said at the time: “It is quite exhausting enjoying yourself!”

We spent two VERY busy and enjoyable days making our fantastic bags. There was even homework on the day in between!!!! Heather had prepared detailed notes and was constantly around to help and support us. It was so interesting to see the bags coming together and they all looked great and individual. I think we all went home to complete the final stitches! A huge thank you to Heather for her hard work and support. (Picture of Brenda’s bag here…)
