This well known teacher and author came to Ouse Valley Quilters in the summer to give a talk and also a workshop. Christine showed loads of beautiful quilts at the talk and all those who attended the workshop had a great time and there were some stunning results. We look forward to Christine’s return visit.
On 20th March 2014, 13 of us were treated to the second visit to our Group workshops by Jan Hassard. This very talented tutor from the Bristol area taught us to make her Dazzling Diamonds quilt. This is made using 2″ strips of bright colours and a background fabric of black or another dark tone.
